Here’s to More Perfect Days!

“You can’t live a perfect day without doing something

for someone who will never be able to repay you”

ImtiazIf you have been following this blog, you may also be a regular listener to my audio podcast titled, Thriving Dentist Show. On this audio podcast I often interview people of influence in dentistry and we discuss topics they are passionate about. A few weeks ago I interviewed my friend Imtiaz Manji, the CEO of Spear Education and the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry. Here is a link to this interview:

During the interview, Imtiaz and I discussed his vision for the Open Wide Foundation. Their mission is to make a difference in the developing world by opening dental clinics that are staffed by visiting dentists and their team members who donate a week of their time to provide care to those people who would not receive care otherwise. The first Open Wide clinic is in Peronia, Guatemala and the vision includes opening clinics throughout the developing world.

Let me encourage you to get involved. Often the people who benefit most are not the people who receive the care, but those who provide it! Coach Wooden was absolutely right, you can’t live a perfect day without doing something for someone who will never be able to repay you! Here’s to more perfect days! Keep Smiling!
